Loose-forward. Born 9-10-82 in New Zealand. Squad number 13. Sponsored by David, Sylvia and Margaret. Spent much of his career in France. His two brothers have both played for France. Valu joined Oldham at the start of the 2010 campaign and quickly became a firm favourite of the Whitebank faithful.

Strong in the tackle and determined on the drive, Valu played 16 games in his debut season, having been forced to miss two months because of injury.
