OLDHAM SERVICE AREA  JUNIOR FESTIVAL

On Saturday , June 23^rd  ,  Oldham Service Area  organised  their annual Junior Festival Under 8`s to Under 11`s at Counthill .

The Under 8`s , 9`s and 10`s for Club teams and was in the morning with over 120 boys and girls playing. Teams from Waterhead, Saddleworth, St Annes and Mayfield competed.

The Under 11`s was a  School event for Pirmary Schools Tag Cup and a Full –tackle competition which was the Primary Schools Rugby League Cup.  There were , again,  about 150 children from 12 school teams  playing in both events.

               Knowsley  win the Cup

In the Primary Schiools Tag Championship:-

Teams from Lyndhurst A and B,  St Margarets, Alt, Bare Trees, SS Aidan and Oswald , Alexandra, Knowsley, St Josephs, Diggle, Rushcroft, St Annes (Greenacres)  competed.

            Play-off results were:-

Alt  0  -  16   St Margarets   Knowsley  24  -  8  Alexandra Park

SS Aiden + Oswald  16  -  12  Lyndhurst B

Diggle   16  -  20   St Annes ( Geenacres)

Rushcroft   20  -  16   Bare Trees
