Roary out fundraising

ROUGHYEDS were delighted to swing into action when they were given the opportunity to assist Tesco with fund-raising for Clic Sargent, the charity for children with cancer.

Since 1988 Tesco has chosen a different charity to support each year and the supermarket giants have been raising money throughout 2010 for Clic Sargent.

Roary the Roughyed, our official club mascot, is pictured helping out at a bucket collection at Tesco’s Huddersfield Road superstore alongside (from left) Roughyeds fan Elaine Goodison and Heidi Maylor of Tesco’s.

In the last few years Roughyeds and their supporters have raised thousands of pounds for cancer charities and have worked closely with the Royal Oldham Hospital’s Link4Pink Appeal.
