Reserves next 2 games are vital

Oldham RLFC would like to remind its fans that the reserves match this weekend against Widnes (Saturday 7th August) will have an early kick off.

The match will kick off at 12:30pm so that people can watch the Carnegie Challenge Cup semi final which kicks off at 2:30pm.
The semi final between Leeds and St Helens will be shown on the “giant screen” in the club house after the match.

The next 2 games against Widnes and Leigh are vital to the league position of the team going into the play offs.

Oldham RLFC are encouraging as many people to get down to the ground to support the reserve side. The support this year has already been fantastic and the club hopes that there will be even more people Whitebank over these next 2 games.

The Leigh game on Saturday 14th August will kick off at 2pm at the request of the Leigh side as they have staff commitments for the first team game against Toulouse later that day.

Talking ahead of the next two matches Chairman Chris Hamilton said “The support the reserves have had all season has been superb, John and the team are hoping to finish the normal season of in style in these next 2 games. It would be great to see even more people get behind the team as they try to finish as high up the league ladder as possible before going into the knock out stage of the season.

Saturday will also see one or two first team players starting the road to recovery following injuries.”

Admission prices are Adults £4 and Concessions £2.

The reserve team presentation night is scheduled to take place on Saturday 21st August at Whitebank Stadium. The evening will be a celebration of the teams season and guests will enjoy entertainment and a two course meal. Tickets are available to purchase at £7.50 per person.
