A new addition to the Roughyeds Reserves squad is in line to make his debut in the side to face Dewsbury Rams at Whitebank tonight (7.30pm kick off).

He is 18-year-old winger Lewis Brooks from Salford who has shown up impressively in training.

“He has done really well,” said coach John Hough, “so he will get his chance tonight to show us what he can do.”

Houghie will choose from the following 19-man squad which goes into action without the injured Sean Hamilton and Dean Hatton and the unavailable Carl Fields and Michael Cadd.

The squad is:

Mark Brocklehurst
Lewis Brooks
Alistair Williams
Jamie Knight
Danny Chetwynd
Mickey Diveney
Tommy Connick
Ben Mellor
Scott Mansfield
Ben Marsden
Kashley Watkins
Michael Ward
Johnny Walker
Austen Barrowclough
Danny Knight
Phil Joy
Mark Smith
Dale Lowe

All Whitebank facilities will be available to spectators tonight including car parking at £1; use of the bar in the clubhouse with draught beer now available; refreshment hut inside the ground; and, for the first time, the sale of alcohol inside the ground thanks to the awarding of a full liquor licence.
