Roughyeds’ reserves will be hoping to play each of their eight home league games at White Bank, starting with the visit of Sheffield Eagles on Saturday, May 15 (3.00pm).

The reserve-team fixtures, released by the club today, comprise home-and-away matches against Featherstone, York, Sheffield, Hunslet, Widnes and Leigh plus one-off games against
Whitehaven (away), Dewsbury (home), Keighley (home) and Barrow (away).

The first game is at Featherstone this Friday night, April 16 (8.00pm kick off), followed by York away on Thursday, April 29 (8.00pm).

Then come three home games in May, against Sheffield on Saturday, May 15; Featherstone on Wednesday, May 19 (8.00pm); and York on Saturday, May 29 (3.00pm).

The game against Leigh away, postponed a fortnight ago at Leigh’s request, has still to be rearranged, but as things stand at present the last two league games for John Hough’s boys will be a couple of crackers leading up to the play-offs —- Widnes Vikings at home on Saturday, August 7 (3.00pm kick off) and Leigh Centurions at home on Saturday, August 14 (3.00pm kick-off).

The end-of-season reserve division play-offs are fixed for Saturday, August 21 and three Saturdays in September, the 4th, 11th and the Grand Final on the 18th.

John H will name his squad for Friday’s big kick off at Featherstone after training on Thursday.
