Ray French at Chadderton Library Friday 25th February

RAY French, rugby league broadcaster, columnist, BBC commentator and former dual-code international, will be in Chadderton Library, Chadderton Wellbeing Centre, Burnley Street, Chaderton OL9 OJW between 6pm and 7pm on Friday, February 25 to meet fans and talk about the sport. He will then invite questions.

The former Widnes and St Helens forward, a schoolteacher by profession and an iconic figure in rugby league after spending a lifetime on the field and in the commentary box, has written his eighth book, ‘Ray French on Rugby’.

In it he assesses the current state of both rugby league and rugby union and offers his passionate and often controversial opinions on the two sports.

Tickets cost £2 and include a glass of wine and nibbles.
