LISTEN in to Radio Manchester’s Rugby League Hour tonight between 6pm and 7pm and you will hear Gareth Owen making his radio debut along with representatives from Rochdale and Swinton.

Gareth, Oldham born and bred, will give the Roughyeds’ angle on the League One campaign as seen from the perspective of the dressing room.
It will form part of a discussion, headed by Jack Dearden and Trevor Hunt, on what life is all about in League One.
Please be reminded also that our improved match-day magazine, full of news, views and pictures by our club’s official photographer Dave Murgatroyd, will be on sale as usual at Sunday’s match against London Skolars following the hiccup at our last home game when a machine breakdown at the printers meant there were no programmes on the day.
This week’s issue, which contains an interesting announcement in chairman Chris Hamilton’s notes, will be on sale as usual at £2 and for £2.50 in total you can purchase also a copy of the programme which never appeared a fortnight ago.
Both issues are full of Oldham Rugby material plus news from the RFL and excellent pictures, most of them by Murgy.
One of them, in the programme for the Coventry game, is an absolute cracker —- George Tyson in full flight and scattering a posse of defenders.
Some clubs in League One have abandoned programmes at every match in favour of one-a-month —- Rochdale and South Wales Scorpions to name but two — but we believe our fans at Whitebank like our match-day read which we believe is good value at £2.
