TICKETS for our 4th-round Carnegie Challenge Cup tie against Hull FC at the magnificent KC Stadium on Saturday, May 7 (kick-off 1.00pm) are now on general sale from the Roughyeds’ office in Lansdowne Road, Chadderton.

They are priced at £15 adults and £8 concessions — that’s children, over-60s and students over the age of 16 and in full-time education on production of valid student ID.

Roughyeds’ JUNIOR season-ticket holders only get FREE admission to the game, but they need to come to the office and exchange voucher B for their match ticket.

The North Stand, which is normally allocated to away fans, will not be open and Roughyeds fans will be accommodated in the north end of the West Stand (W12).

The Roughyeds’ office in Lansdowne Road, Chadderton (tel: 0161 628 3677) is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm but please note that on Monday, April 11, for one day only, it will close at noon.

To go up against Super League opposition in one of the best stadiums in the country will provide Oldham’s management, coaching staff, players and supporters with a challenge to relish and a special day out to savour. We naturally hope, and trust, that as many fans as possible will share the experience with us.

The KC Stadium, built at a cost of £44m and opened in December, 2002, is a state-of-the-art all-seater arena with a capacity of 25,586.

Located next to a Victorian park, it was the first new stadium in the UK to be located in a parkland setting.

Included in the stadium complex is a 1,500-seat sports arena; two multi-use all-weather pitches; and a community learning zone (run by Hull College) complete with classrooms, health and fitness suite, cyber cafe and library.

Owned by Hull City Council and managed by the Stadium Management Company, it is the home of both Hull FC and the city’s football club, Hull City AFC.
