Its
that time of year where we are asking you to renew your membership
of what was known as the Elite Club. Over
the past few months the club has worked closely with a group .of
supporters who have given a lot of unpaid help to us by organising
various events of their own as well as assisting us when we have
been busy with functions. We
now have a healthy band of people who are committed to helping us
take the club forward and we have regular meetings at the social
club where we discuss and plan forthcoming events. One
of the points we have talked about is the name of the
"club" and we have renamed the membership as "The
Oldham Rugby League Support Group". The
name is meant to be nothing more than a reflection of what the group
does whether
it is as an active member in any way or as just a supporter of what
the club is trying to achieve, We
hope that the new name will be endorsed by yourself and that we may
see you down
at the club for some of the many events put on for the benefit of
the supporters and the club. All
of the trips, events etc which are organised are advertised in the
local press., on the clubs website, in the social club and match day
programmes and we try to be as varied as possible in what is
arranged to ensure that all tastes and pocket sizes can be catered
for. We
hope that we can start to attract more and more people to our club,
remember it is not just for Oldham Rugby League supporters and those
of you who have not yet been in will be pleasantly surprised when
you do, The
aim of all of the things we put on is to encourage our supporters
and friends to come
together socially whilst at the same time trying to raise funds for
the club. They are all excellent value for money and we hope to see
you soon at one of them, A

for 12 months which with all the usual discounts at the club shop,
away travel, season tickets and events we organise is we feel good
