ORSA quiz

THE Oldham Roughyeds’ Supporters’ Association (ORSA) is hoping for a good attendance at a Quiz Night to be held in the theatre bar at the Lyceum, Union Street, starting at 8pm on Wednesday, August 28.
Parking is available across Union Street on the Sainsbury’s car park where Customer Services will clear your parking ticket for you.
Cost per person for entry to the quiz is a nominal £1 and anyone can enter either as an individual or as a member of a quiz team.
Anyone not in a team will be placed in one and ORSA officials say they can guarantee that a good time will be had by all whether you are an experienced “quizzer” or not.
Said ORSA chairman Nigel Marland: “Anyone is welcome. This isn’t just for ORSA members or just for Roughyeds supporters. It is literally for anyone who fancies a pleasant night out in good company and with prizes to be won, while at the same time helping us to raise funds for ORSA, which ultimately means raising funds for our favourite rugby league club.”
Heading the prize list will be a jackpot worth £80. Raffle prizes will also be available, as will sandwiches for those of a hungry disposition.
Further information is available from the Roughyeds’ office, from any member of ORSA or from Sheila Somerville on 01706 844810.
