Date published: Monday, June 3, 2013

IN-FORM Roughyeds prop Phil Joy is named in this week’s mythical Premier Sports team of the week on the strength of his man-of-the-match billing in our 30-22 win against London Skolars.

Three-try Gary Middlehurst of North Wales, whom we will be meeting at the Racecourse Ground in Wrexham on Sunday (2.30) won the player-of-the-week award for his performance in a 66-4 win against Gloucestershire All Golds.

Oxford and former Oldham hooker John Clough was deemed to have scored the try of the week in Oxford’s home win against Gateshead Thunder by five points.
