Noone Update

PAUL Noone has spoken of the sickening moment at London Skolars on Sunday when he thought he had broken his leg.
“I heard a crack and I was sure the fibula was fractured,” said the Oldham RL forward.
“My lower leg went numb and I thought, ‘That’s it, then'”
It was only when physiotherapist Rachael Johnson was able to straighten his leg that he knew the injury was not as serious as he first feared.
Hospital x-rays on Monday revealed that his pain was caused by severely damaged ankle ligaments.
It isn’t known how long he will be out, but the former Warrington and Barrow back-row man is hoping it will be no more than three weeks.
He added: “I’m gutted at missing the Saints cup tie. I was eight years at Warrington and I was never once on a winning side against St Helens.
“As you can imagine, I was really looking forward to Friday because it would probably have been my last chance of having another crack at them.
“We are massive underdogs, but the lads will give a good account of themselves.”
