Neil’s testimonial dinner

NEIL Roden, who has given outstanding service to our club over the past 12 years, will be staging a testimonial dinner at Whitebank on Saturday, August 9 (7pm for 7.30pm).
It will be a mixed dinner for men and women and tickets are now on sale at £25 per head, which will include a three-course meal.
Andy Gregory, the former Wigan and Great Britain scrum-half star, will be guest speaker and the MC will be Ian Smith, the Oldhamer who rose through the sport’s refereeing ranks to become a Super League official and who is now full-time coach to match officials as well as being one of the best known of the video referees.
There will also be a raffle and an auction of rugby league memorabilia.
Tickets  will  be on sale in the socal club at Whitebank from 1pm until kick off and then post game over this coming weekend when the under-20s are at home to Gloucester on Saturday (2.30pm) and the first team also play the All Golds on Sunday at 3.pm.
Fans can also purchase tickets, BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT ONLY, from the Oldham RLFC office situated at Oasis Academy Oldham, Hollins Road, Oldham OL8 4JZ between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Ring the office first on 0161 624 9630 Ext 70552 to make the arrangement.
 
Payment is by cash or cheque only. Cheques to be made payable to Neil Roden Testimonial Fund. 
There is no first-team game on the weekend of the dinner, but prior to the dinner on Saturday, August 9 the under-20s are at home to Keighley Cougars with a 2.30pm kick-off.
