Match-day ground stewards

Date published: Tuesday, August 18, 2015
IN anticipation of bigger crowds at Whitebank in the remaining home games of this season, Oldham RLFC has vacancies for ground-safety stewards.

Experience is not necessary as nvq level 2 training in spectator safety is available, but applicants must have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
Applications via email please to the Ground Safety Officer, Phil Black, at:
Given our magnificent run of results (ten wins in a row which gives us the longest winning streak in the entire Rugby League) and our lofty position as Kingstone Press League One leaders, we are anticipating four-figure crowds against Barrow Raiders this Sunday, August 23 and Swinton Lions on Sunday, September 6.
If we were to retain our spot as league leaders after the completion of our normal league season with a game at Oxford on Saturday, September 12 (please note this game has been brought forward 24 hours from the Sunday), we would then have, at Whitebank, a top-two play-off against the team finishing second for the right to win promotion.
If we were to lose that game, we would be at home again in a play-off tie against the team finishing fifth, so there are going to be several massive games at Whitebank in the next few weeks.
