The Roughyeds kids organisation
is run on a voluntary and self funding basis, monies from sponsors,
events etc. are used to benefit members by way of free functions,
theatre trips etc.
Sponsorship this season has come via Saddleworth Sports who provide shorts/socks for the mascots and have done for as long as we can remember, F. R. Elswood who has again made a substantial financial contribution, The Oldham Advertiser who sponsor the mascots framed photographs and a new sponsor for this season in Cartridge World Oldham who have agreed to provide us with free refills for our computer cartridges. In addition to our main sponsors Warburtons bakery helped with all our social functions helped with all our social functions last season by donating bread. We are always on the look out for anyone willing to help us with contributions, be it financial/goods or services; any benefit from savings we make can then be passed on to the Kids. All though our members have an interest in supporting Oldham we are trying to bring them together as much as possible in a social setting, and find that parents are benefiting from this as much as the Kids. The future of any organisation lies with its children and we are trying to encourage as many youngsters as possible to get involved with O. R. L. F. C. . Chris is backing us all the way, not only with the season ticket offer but also with his help and support that is very often behind the scenes.
