Keighley 24 – 35 Reserves

Roughyed Reserves won 35 24 at Keighley last night with tries from Lewis Brookes (2), Jamie Dallimore(2), Dave Cookson and Alistair Williams.

Dallimore took his personal tally in the game to 19 with the addition of 5 goals and a drop goal.

Roughyeds led 28 4 at half time but Keighley came back to 28 24 before Roughyeds pulled away again towards the end.

New signing, Bruce Johnson made his debut from the bench and came through with flying colours.

Coach John Hough, put his number two Paul Ashton in charge last night and was full of praise for the job Ashy had done to command the team to victory.

Said John “For the second game in succession we lost the initiative at the beginning of the second half and that’s something we need to look at before we go to Halifax next Friday”.
