COUNTY Car and Van Rental are revving up to fuel table-topping Oldham Rugby League Club’s drive for promotion in a challenging 2012 season.

With a depot at the corner of Cross Street, County have joined the portfolio of Roughyeds’ shirt sponsors in a new partnership with the club which offers supporters exclusive rental discounts.

Tony Benson’s men have accelerated away making a superb start, winning their first two games in Co-operative Championship One to take pole position from second-placed Barrow Raiders, who come to Whitebank on Sunday, April 1 in what promises to be a mouth-watering clash of the unbeaten top two.

County’s General Manager Rob Hardman said: “We are delighted to be associated with such a forward-thinking and competitive club as Oldham RLFC.

“With a fantastic selection of cars, vans, trucks and mini-buses we are pleased to offer exclusive discounts to Oldham RLFC supporters.

“All we ask is that they bring along the latest home-game match-day programme in which we have a full-page advert which tells customers all they need to know about County and its services.

“We believe this partnership represents a winning combination for our customers and the club’s fans alike – many of whom of course, are one and the same!”

Oldham RLFC chairman Chris Hamilton said: “We are very grateful indeed to get the support of County Car and Van Rental, particularly in the current economic climate.

“Things are tough in the commercial world right now, but County have come on board with us and we hope to reward them with a successful 2012 season in our quest to build long-term relationships.”
