BEN Thaler, one of England’s top referees, will handle Oldham’s Kingstone Press Championship game against London Broncos at Bower Fold, Stalybridge on Sunday (3pm kick-off).
Thaler (35), from Wakefield, and Oldham’s Robert Hicks were England’s full-time referees on the international panel that officiated at last year’s Four Nations Series.Continue reading
Vestacare Stadium, formerly known as Whitebank Stadium, is undergoing a transformation. Work to level the playing surface and lay a new 3G artificial surface has begun in earnest.
Club photographer Dave Murgatroyd took a series of photographs to show the stadium before the diggers moved in and again once the old pitch had been removed.
