Carvell banned for two games

Warrington Wolves prop Garreth Carvell has been suspended for two games after the RFL Disciplinary Committee found him guilty of committing a Grade C offence for kicking out during Warrington’s Good Friday victory over Widnes Vikings.

Carvell, who pleaded not guilty, was also fined £300 by the panel.

Rochdale Hornets player Gary Middlehurst has been banned for six games after he was found guilty of a Grade E offence committed during Rochdale’s Co-operative Championship One game against North Wales Crusaders on April 1.

Middlehurst was found guilty of intentionally kicking out at the head and punching and fined £50 by the panel.
