Building links with Lemur

LEMUR Graphics of Chadderton and Oldham RLFC are keen to build on a relationship that is already three years old.
Having shaken hands on this latest shirt sponsorship deal, both Mark Dawson (Lemur managing director) and Chris Hamilton (Oldham RLFC chairman) said they were keen to develop and strengthen the links between the club and the local printing firm, based in Stock Lane Business Park, Chadderton.
Said Mark, who was once a winger with amateur rugby league club Hollinwood: “This is our third year with Oldham RLFC and I’ve seen enough to know that I would like Lemur to get even more involved with the club in some way.”
Said Chris: “Our partnership goes from strength to strength and it is one we are keen to develop, as is Lemur Graphics.”
Oldham RLFC match-day programmes, which we believe to be slick, colourful, attractive and a good read, are designed and printed by Lemur Graphics, who have a website at www.lemurgraphics.co.uk
The family business is named after the nocturnal animal, similar to a monkey, which has a foxy face and a large tail and mainly inhabits Madagascar.
The team behind Lemur comprises of Mark (managing director), his wife Lesley-Anne (director), Peter Hagan (sales and marketing), Liam Smith (production manager) and Andrew Hagan (transport).
Mark has been in the printing trade for 25 years, having started off at Hirst, Kidd and Rennie Ltd, proprietors of the Oldham Evening Chronicle.
He launched his own company in 2011, initially as a print brokers’ firm, but soon to acquire its own production unit.
Growing ever since, it was recently restructured again to encompass graphic design, including the design of websites etc.
On behalf of the Roughyeds, Chris added: “Mark and Lemur are currently doing work for Regenda, another of our major partners, in a prime example of how sponsorship with the club can bring businesses together for their mutual benefit.
“Mark and his staff are always very accommodating and supportive of what we are trying to do at the club, and we hope our partnership will continue for a long time to come.”
