RFL announces restructure of organisation

The RFL has announced it will restructure the organisation to ensure it is best placed to serve the sport in the coming years.

The new structure will focus on ensuring the RFL is embracing digital technologies across the sport, putting fans, players and volunteers at the heart of everything it does. It will also see the RFL continue to focus support on the England national team to give it the best chance of success at the 2017 World Cup and provide the perfect catalyst for a home World Cup in 2021.

Swinton away to launch pre-season programme

THE first of Oldham RL Club’s three pre-season games will be against Swinton Lions at Heywood Road, Sale on Sunday, January 8 (kick-off 3pm).

Roughyeds had previously announced that they will go to Barrow on January 15 (2pm) and entertain Rochdale Hornets at Bower Fold for the Law Cup on January 22 (3pm).
