Alex Wilkinson Centre/Wing/Back Row

Oldham-born Alex played his early rugby with Royton Tigers and toured with GB schoolboys to Australia in 1999 and with England academy to New Zealand and Australia in 2001. Super League giants Bradford Bulls snapped him up and, while at Odsal, he had a loan spell with London Broncos, where he played six times in Super League. He then moved on loan to Huddersfield, where he added another 13 Super League games to his tally.
He played a similar number while on loan to Hull FC, who offered him a two-year contract. However, Alex wanted to complete his degree and with
part-time rugby the only option he chose his hometown club.
Injuries dealt him some cruel blows in 2006, but Roughyeds didn't hesitate
to offer him another deal for 2007. Roughyeds thought they had lost their man when he joined the Police, but in February 2008 he was able to put pen to paper on a new deal to November 2008.
