SAID Tamghart faces possible suspension this week by the RFL disciplinary committee after being cited for the part he played in an incident during the Oldham v Salford Northern Rail Cup game at Boundary Park.

Lee Jewitt (Salford) and Rob Roberts (Oldham) were sent to the sin bin and play was restarted with a penalty to Oldham.

However, referee Michael Dawber placed the incident on report and as a consequence Said has been charged with running in and alleged striking. Under new guidelines, this case falls into Category C, punishment for which, if the Oldham forward is found guilty, can range from No Further Action to a four-match ban.

Said the club's chief executive Chris Hamilton: "I have spoken about the case to the RFL's disciplinary commissioner, but the details must remain confidential. Our defence will be submitted accordingly."

Other Roughyeds information today:

Five Alive: In the draw for February, Derek King won the first prize of £500, while Karen Marie picked up the second prize of two places in the hospitality suite at a forthcoming home game and Nick Henry won the third prize of a £25 voucher for the club shop.

New outlet: Talking of the club shop, Roughyeds are happy to announce that a full range of replicas and leisure wear is now available at Multisportz, situated on Shaw Road in the old Windsor public house, opposite the Boundary.
All our up-to-date merchandise is there and there are special offers on last year's replicas and leisure wear.
Multisportz is open seven days a week and this is a permanent arrangement between them and the club.

Spotland game on Wednesday: Please note the kick-off at Rochdale on Wednesday is 7.30pm. Oldham fans are asked to get there in good time and give themselves plenty of time for the journey. Only  the main stand will be open. The Tesco roundabout at the end of the 627M will be open in midweek, but motorists are experiencing delays there and fans may prefer to find an alternative route.
